Meet the maker jennifer gray

Hello and welcome to my shop 'MiaZakDesigns'. My name is Jennifer and I am mummy to Mia who's 7 and Zak who's 4.

The shop came about after I searched and bought two handmade bedroom door plaques for my little one's. I remember thinking that they simply had to have one on their bedroom door. They were handmade, and while very nice, they just had their name's written on and that was it. No extra little something to make them a bit more unique. Hence, I decided to have a go and let loose my creative side.

I've always liked being a bit creative ever since I was a child. Even if it was just making endless paper chains for my bedroom at Christmas time. Through to sewning on beads and buttons to my clothes.

Right now I work as a nurse and life can be pretty stressful, juggling shifts and looking after my little one's (but I'm sad to say they are growing to fast) and I want to pursue other avenue's, namely the handmade market.

I am always coming up with new idea's for my plaques and am happy to consider bespoke creations. I love hearing from anyone likeminded.

Now, the boring bit.

Packaging; I take great care to wrap every item beautifully. I like to use co-ordinating tissue paper and jute/ribbon to tie my creations. I then lovingly protect them in bubble wrap and finally pop them in a padded envelope.

Delivery; I always aim to post your item within 3 days of purchase and use Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery. If there is a slight delay in posting your item I will contact you and let you know.

Returns; Unfortunately I am not able to offer returns due to the personalisation of the item. However, if the item reaches you in a damaged condition, I will be more than happy to send another to you.
