Meet the maker Sorrel Eggins

It started with nappy cakes! I saw these being advertised online and thought they looked amazing and that I would try them out for myself. I have made a few for friends and family and moved onto gift baskets and baby bouquets. I still make the occasional one now.

However, being the fickle person that I am, I soon found myself trying out new crafts such as pyrography, candle making and lately, jewellery making.

I love how you can make so many different varieties and add your own unique designs and make them personal for others too. It seems that it is only my imagination (and space) that limit what I can do with these.

Currently I am working in the corner of our spare bedroom. One day, I hope to have my own workshop and make candles all day long. So many things have to happen before that dream comes true but we must all start somewhere.

One thing leads to another- that seems to be how my imagination works. I have no idea what I will be creating until I am right in the middle of it. How much fun is that!!!
