I'm a craft geek!

I love lots of different types of crafts and am always trying to find new ones. I guess my story is pretty similar to other people's in that friends and family always used to encourage me to sell my items and so one day I finally decided to take the plunge! I named my shop after my Nan who I love and miss dearly, and who I know would be so proud of me :)

Where my story is probably a bit different to most is that I have bipolar disorder and anxiety and had always struggled to cope with a 'normal' job. Having my own Folksy shop fits perfectly into my life with my illness - I can work when I'm feeling OK and just take a break and try to recover when I'm not! I feel no pressure and no stress like I used to at previous jobs and have gotten an amazing sense of happiness and self worth by doing something without having to quit, and it's something I love! What could be better? :)
