Meet the maker Lynn Pryde

From my home on the Isle of Skye i have a lovely time making bags and acessories from Tweed. I now have the luxury of doing this full time while the little people are at school. I just get them to where they need to go, feed the Hens and the cat and start sewing!

I really enjoy thinking about how to embellish the bags. Taking time to make a corsage from contrasting tweeds or felting a flower from merino tops.

Tweed should last a very long time so as a maker i have to make sure it all stays together and continues to look good.

I have fun making soft furnishings and these have my own designs appliqued to them. Cottages, birds, hearts all there to raise a little smile and to look very cosy too.
