Meet the maker Lisa Paice

Hi There, I'm a 38 year old web developer. I live in North Essex with my partner and 2 wonderful children, Alicia (9) and Joseph (3). My partner is a policeman and his shifts mean that I have many an evening free to pursue traditional crafts.

I trained in Graphic Design:Typography, Ba(Hons) at Exeter School of Art & Design then I did A MSc in Interactive Multimedia.

I recently began to rediscover my love of typography and Letterpress printing which has also led to book binding.

All designs are produced in house on a very old Arab Crown Folio Letterpress made by J.Wade of Halifax. A beautiful machine that is as good to look at as she is to use. I also have several Adana Table top presses and 2 hot foil machines.
