Meet the maker Audrey Evans

Hello and Welcome. Thank you for taking the time to read my Bio.

I am a divorced mother of three, now grown up children and have four grandchildren. I live in Swindon in UK but my heart lies anywhere where there is a crafting community.

I learn't to sew at 10 when my sister bought me an old fashioned second-hand manual sewing machine. I promptly learn't to make loads of dolly clothes! and I progressed from there.

I now create vintage-inspired and contemporary one-of-a-kind handbags. All my handbags are made in a pet and smoke free shed-studio.

The handbags for sale are made only once in the fabrics shown. Therefore, you will be the proud owner of a completely beautiful and individual one-of-a-kind handbag!

All my items are sewn with love and care to be sturdy and beautiful. All seams are double or triple stitched and all stress points are extra reinforced. All the handbags are fully or partially interfaced, depending on the design, to add structure and durability. Please see individual items for details.

My ambitions are to be happy, make friends, do something meaningful and travel the world like a gypsy meeting new people and seeing different crafts at work. Oh and I hope to sell some items in my new shops. lol.
