Meet the maker Julia Martin

Welcome to Kingfisher Crafts. Like a lot of people my mother taught me to knit when I was about 7 years old. I have always knitted since then, progressing from stocking stitch to quite intricate stitches by the time I was into my early teens. When my youngest was Christened I knitted his christening gown and a hooded shawl to match. Looking back now that my sons are teenagers I wonder how I found the time. For a while now I have been knitting scarves and bags as well as items for babies. I have recently taken up crochet, my grandmother was a great crocheter and taught me many years ago, but I never really got into it, now I can't stop and will be introducing items into my shop very soon. I also enjoy making cards and helped my sister make her wedding invitations. I have also made invitations for two work colleagues for their weddings.

POSTAGE All items are carefully wrapped in tissue paper, carefully packaged and sent first class. I aim to dispatch within 3 working days and will contact you when your purchase has been sent.

RETURNS Returns are accepted within 7 days. I'll refund if the item is in as new condition.
