Meet the maker Kate Yorke

Emily Pickle is named after my daughter. Based in the High Peak, I studied Surface Pattern & Textile Design at Stockport College after completing an Art Foundation at MMU. After studying, I enjoyed working on various design briefs for companies including Hallmark and Argos.

Inspired by vintage and retro, patterns and tea pots, I love to work in a distinctive collage style, particularly suited to my tea towels, prints and cards.
