Meet the maker Kym Parker

Im a graduate of Heriot Watt's Scottish School of Textiles located in the scottish borders. During my final year i produced a collection of bohemian inspired fabrics full of rich, vibrant colour and printed on sumptuous cotton and wool fabrics. I love to travel and this is where i get alot of my inspiration from. Colour is a huge part of my initial research and i adore the tactile qualities of different fabrics so to combine the two was a no brainer. So ive decided to turn these beautiful fabrics into cushions and share them with the world. I've been living and working in Manchester for almost a year now and find city life so inspiring and fulfilling, however Im hoping to get back out on my travels very soon to keep my mind inspired.

I adore interior space and recreating and decorating areas in the home. The things we surround ourselves with in the home are so very important, even injecting a little bit of life with say a quirky new cushion can make all the difference and bring a room to life.
