About me

A love of drawing began at a very early age, but it's taken many years for me to realise I can create things that others actually want to buy. I love inventing characters and other worlds both visually and as stories. These scenes and characters (mostly animals and girl and boy friends Molly and Mitch) have a typically British feel to them; bumble bees, flowers, summer rain, the seaside... Things I see around me and things I remember from the past. Although I may throw in the odd elephant or giraffe, as I find big, wild animals rather fascinating!

What do I sell?

Much of what Dear Duck sells is stationery: notepads, writing paper, notecards... I've always loved stationery and spent a lot of my childhood in WH Smith looking at pens and notebooks! I also sell ACEOs, greeting cards and mini paintings. At the moment, all my illustrations are drawn in pen and painted with watercolours.

I really enjoy undertaking commissions, so if there's something you'd like but can't see, just drop me an e-mail.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment and Postage
You can order online by PayPal. This is a secure payment system and means that the money is received immediately. You do not need a PayPal account and I will not see your card details.
I aim to post your order as promptly as possible; usually within 3 working days. I package all my items very carefully to ensure they won't be damaged in transit. I post by Royal Mail 1st class and by airmail if you're outside of the UK.
International customers are responsible for any taxes or customs costs their country may impose.
You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail once I have posted your package.

Returning Items
I hope that you will be very happy with your purchase. If however, the goods are not as you anticipated, please e-mail me within 7 days of receipt and return the goods to me as soon as possible. Please use the original packing to return the goods. I recommend that you use recorded delivery or another tracking service as I cannot be responsible for items that go missing on return. You will be responsible for return postage costs unless the goods are faulty.
I will refund the cost of the item(s) and original postage (if any was paid) or exchange the item(s) on receipt, as long as it is unused, with the original packaging and in a resellable condition. The replacement item(s) will be sent within the same timeframes as a normal purchase. Refunds will be made within the 30 day legal requirement and by the same method as you originally paid.

Please note that I cannot refund or exchange custom orders unless they arrive damaged.
