Meet the maker Lisa

Hello!

My name is Lisa and I live in a 140 year old Victorian Cottage in Bedfordshire in the UK which is affectionately known as the 'Gingerbread House' .

I'm a self-confessed 'Craft Magpie' and love to use a variety of skills to make lots of different things .

I learnt to knit, crochet and sew as a child and I started making beads from polymer clay in 2003 when I couldn't find the right sort and colour of bead I wanted for some curtain tie backs I was making! I've been hooked ever since! :o)

In the summer of 2010 I took a course in lampworking so I could learn how to make glass beads and I also cast resin pendants too!

I've also recently re-kindled my love of sewing by replacing my old (and broken) sewing machine.

So on rainy Sundays you will often find me in my craft room creating something! :o)
