Meet the maker Joy McEwan

I have lived in the Bude area of North Cornwall for over 39 years and love the wild rugged coastline. After completing a mosaic evening course during 2009 I’ve become passionate about creating colourful mosaics from stained glass, glass tiles and mirror. I spend many happy hours in my workshop hand cutting and placing pieces.

Most of my mosaics start life as a one inch glass tile, which I snip into small pieces and then put back together in a new design. For bases I use recycled roof slates and cement fibreboard, from which I cut the shapes.

If you would like to buy more than one item please email me and I'll work out the postage and package charge according to the mosaics you would like.

I have a stall at Bude Farmer & Craft Market, which is held every Friday from Good Friday through until the end of September, if you’re in the area stop by, see more of my work and say hello.

I have tried to give accurate descriptions and photographs, however it is difficult to capture the exact colours of iridescent glass.

Items will be posted by first class delivery ASAP after your order. I will email you to let you know once your mosaic has been posted. If you are abroad, please contact me for a postage quote before purchasing the item. I pack carefully to prevent damage and whenever possible use recycled wrappings.

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, please return it within 7 days of receipt. Once I have received your return I will issue a full refund (excluding P&P charges) via Paypal. Items for return should be sent in the original packaging, or equivalent, and by recorded delivery
