Meet the maker Chloe Akers

Hello! My name is Chloe andI have been designing and making jewellery since 2009! I have sold through Folksy since 2009 and have appeared at craft fairs such as 'I Make Fun Stuff' in Ipswich, Suffolk and 'Art on the Prom' in Felixstowe, Suffolk. I volunteer at a gorgeous little studio/shop in Brantham Suffolk, called 'Bespoken Of Studio' as well as stock my jewellery at 'The Thrifty Thistle' in Felixstowe.

My jewellery is mainly of an assemblage type. I adore working with colour; I am lately obsessed with pastel shades! All kinds of themes inspire my making; so my Folksy shop will probably stock a range of styles; including kawaii, kitsch, fairy kei, antique/vintage and more, so hopefully you will find something that is perfect for you! :)

* General *

* Paypal is the only form of payment I will accept.
* If you have any trouble with payment, please contact me ASAP so I can assist in anyway.
* It is quite common for non-Folksy members to place an order by mistake. If this has happened please e-mail me ASAP so I can cancel the order.
* It means the world for me if you can leave positive feedback once you’ve received your order. This enables me to know it got to you safely and also it makes my day when I’ve made someone else’s. If there is a problem, please contact me first before leaving negative feedback as it can easily be solved leaving us both happy. :)

* Shipping *

* I post within 1-3 working days after receiving payment.
* Shipping dates are currently Monday to Friday.
* I post all items first class.
* If you’re an overseas customer, I am very much happy to ship to your country. Please check under the Postage and Packaging section for further information on prices. Please allow up to 7-14 business days for it to arrive to you!

* Postage and Packaging *

* To cut down on waste I re-use packaging!
* The P&P you pay are POSTAGE costs only, due to the recycled materials I use to carefully wrap my items.
* UK - small items £1. Large items £2.20
* Europe - all items £2.50
* Worldwide - all items £3.50
* I do not charge extra for each additional item added to the order! :)

* Problems *

* All of my items are made to the highest quality and go through careful quality control checks to ensure that moving components (e.g lobster clasps) work and are easy to use as well as checking that each piece is durable and comfortable to wear.
* Some items are UPCYCLED and may contain surface marks, which will be noted in the product listing with a clear image of the defect. I advise you to only purchase it if it will not bother you!
* All items will be carefully wrapped to ensure they stay immaculate during their travels. Unfortunately once the parcel leaves my hands I have no control on how the parcel is treated while it’s on your way to you.
* If it arrives faulty, please contact me as soon as possible so we can sort the problem out, whether you would like a full refund [not including cost of postage] or an exchange for something of the same value. I will send the exchanged product free of charge. Most of my items are one of a kind so usually I cannot replace faulty items, but please don't be afraid to check with me as occasionally I stock more than one on some items.
* If there are any other problems, please don’t hesitate to contact me either through e-mail or Folksy and I will assist to the problem as best as I can. Please be assured that I have 5 years’ worth of retail customer experience so I am very friendly and approachable and will take you and your query/complaint very seriously.
