This is me - somewhere in between the gorgeous blogs of the stitchy soul mamas, and the potion stirring, kitchen witchery of the pointy hat brigade, - Jaine Rose. Artist, sometime community witch, compulsive diarist and photo snapper.
Painting, stitching, making balms and tinctures. Inventing new bread recipes. Investigating the curious nature of life's lesser known B-roads. Dreaming of escaping in a campervan. Mother to a patchwork of children and crazy animals.

Join me in my search for the soulful and the sacred.

My paintings are made layer by layer using aquarelle pencils and inks on watercolour paper and board. I often get tempted into collage, machine embroidery and acrylics too. I have a studio full of lovely materials, and ah, so little time.
