Meet the maker Gaynor Hill

I loved art at school but embarked on a career when I left which didn't leave much time for anything else. Now I've exchanged my career girl status for that of a country wife I finally have time to pick up a paintbrush again.

I love Victorian botany and entymology prints and field sketches and you'll see this influence in my work. I like the unusual and quirky and paint the good, the bad and the ugly of the insect world. I can paint a particular subject for you if you have a favourite or want a specific gift for a bee keeper or gardener. Also pairs or set of paintings if you are looking for a match of colour and size.

I mainly work in watercolour and ink and all the materials I use are artist quality and acid free.
