Meet the maker Becky Kennedy

Welcome to Becky, Queen of Frocks!

As you can tell from the title, I'm Becky, and I love frocks. And fabric and ribbon and all other items stocked by a haberdashery.

I was taught to use a sewing machine by my mum when I was about eleven years old. Naturally, I immediately made tiny coats and trousers for any soft toy that sat around long enough. Since then I’ve progressed onto making clothes for people, which is much more satisfying - I don’t need to make allowances for tails, ears or trunks, for a start!

Every item I make is fully lined and finished to the highest quality. My dresses are made to last, and are easily washable – life is too short to have to go to the dry cleaners!

I believe you can never have too many lovely, unique, handmade dresses, especially when sold at a reasonable price. So please peruse the photographs, fall in love with a frock, and make it yours.

P.S. Don't see your size or colour? I do commissions, just send me a message!

Please note that my items are also listed for sale on another site. I frequently check my emails for sales notifications but in the unlikely event that the same item is sold twice in quick succession I will contact the later buyer and offer to re-make the item with a slight delay to posting, or issue a full refund. Thank you for understanding!
