Meet the maker
My Grandma patiently taught my best friend Kate and I to knit when we were about 7. We spent something of an idyllic childhood knitting, sewing and generally making stuff. In my stress filled twenties, when I was working in meedja I resurrected those old skills as a way to relax and get creative. I ended up hooked and despite a career change (to primary school teaching) and two babies, which have turned me into a much more chilled 30-something, I still love my knitting and making stuff. Until now the stuff I make has always been for gifts and the occasional commission for friends and family so Folksy represents a new adventure. For updates on my projects check out my blog: http://audreysteashop.blogspot.com and on Ravelry where I'm known as Annabanna.
