Meet the maker Rachel Grant

I am an artist living and working from my little home studio in North Staffordshire. I create mixed media original paintings using a unique process that involves the layering of collage, acrylic paint, machine embroidery and screen print onto deep edged stretched artist's canvas. From these originals I also create high quality, signed limited edition Giclee Fine Art Prints.
My work is inspired by narratives, drawing on music, poetry, novels and the secret stories that surround me, I translate these into dreamlike paintings that offer a glimpse of an inner world.
