Meet the maker Jo Walters

I have always been very creative and have been making jewellery for a few years now. When I was younger I also enjoyed sewing. Since returning back to work as a freelance assessor and internal verifier I have at long last been able to start saving money again. I decided recently to invest in a sewing machine so I could take up the hobby again. I then discovered a love of silk fabric and since I have been doing quilting and patchwork for a while now (by hand until my recent investment!) I have combined the two things and Annie Lane Designs was born, named after my dear mum who I lost seven years ago and miss every day!!
