Meet the maker Gill Pottle

I spent two amazing, inspiring, wonderful years training in traditional hand-making of both fine and contemporary jewellery at Birmingham School of Jewellery, graduating in 2012. Since then I have been busy developing my ranges and honing my techniques. I now sell my work in several jewellery galleries across the UK.

I make sterling silver and gold jewellery that is rich in texture, colour, contrast and movement. I am influenced by nature (trees, ice patterns, rock textures, animal print), architecture (domed roofs, stained glass windows), and traditional techniques such as forming, wire wrapping, and chainmaille.

I am an Emerge member of Design Factory, which is the leading creative development agency in the East Midlands in the UK. See their website here: www.designfactory.org.uk
