Meet the maker Abby Wright

I am a fashion and portrait illustrator from Yorkshire. If you have any inquiries, please feel free to email me. I would be happy to help in any way I can. I sell prints, cards and produce personal portrait commissions. My illustrations incorporate hand drawn line work with texture, colour and a careful combination of negative and positive space. I love working in a large format and creating fine details, a way of working that lends itself perfectly to my passion for portrait and fashion illustration.

All of my illustrations are printed on high quality Hahnemühle paper and presented in beautifully hand-cut board backed mounts. I believe presentation and quality are imperative when providing customers with goods they would happily give away as gifts or, of course, keep proudly for themselves. Each piece is handmade with love, care and attention.

Should you wish to commission a portrait or pet portrait commission, please allow 1-2 weeks for me to produce and send the illustration. Should you need your illustration quicker than this, I may be able to help, so please just ask! Once you have ordered the illustration, please email me (abbywrightillustration@hotmail.com) the image you would like me to illustrate, at the highest possible quality, and once I have received payment I can get to work producing something special for you.

After receiving many commissions via email, I thought it was the perfect time to open my own Folksy shop. Previous customers have said:

Postage:
With any print or cards, I will send them within 3 days of cleared payment via *First Class Recorded post. (Your package should arrive in 1-2 days. I will inform you when I have sent it) I use recorded post as this allows me to track the package. Should your package not arrive within two days, please let me know and I will try my best to find and solve the problem. Please remember that with the personal illustration commissions, you will need to wait longer for me to produce the work.

I can not be held responsible for any damaged or lost items, but rest assured your items will be packaged securely and I have never had any problems with damaged packages. Should you have any problems, do let me know and we can work together to resolve the issue.

I hope you will love your order, but should you have any issues or wish to cancel your order, let me know as soon as possible and I will help you resolve the issue.

Once I have finished a personal illustration, I will email you with a picture of the illustration for your approval. Once the illustration has been approved, I can no longer change anything and the responsibility will be in your hands. I hope you can understand this, as producing a personal illustration can be time consuming and I usually have more than one on a go at one time.
