Meet the maker Paula Hodge

Well what started as something I did to relax after a hard day supervising anything up to 50 volunteers at an advice centre has now blossomed into a full time career. Although I still make jewellery using basic stringing materials, my real passion is seed bead weaving both on and off-loom but primarily off-loom. Although these pieces can be extremely time consuming, the sense of achievement when a piece is finally finished is immense. All this from a girl who couldn't even sew a button on straight! I'm now branching out into handbag making, having finally overcome my fear of a sewing machine and thanks to my mum who's such a major source of inspiration and encouragement. I regularly fly down to her house yelling "Help Me!" when I can't get a piece quite right! She's an incredible woman who has never doubted me since I made the monumental decision to leave my job and plunge into the world of self-employment.

All our items are posted within 3 days of your purchase (usually on the same day if an order is placed before 3pm GMT)

Should you wish to cancel your order please do so via email when a full refund (including postage costs) will be given within 30 days of the request, however please note that this does not apply to custom orders.

Should you decide that you no longer require/want the item(s) you have up to seven days after the receipt of your item(s) to terminate the contract. A full refund will be given within 30 days of this occurring. Please note that you (the buyer) must cover the cost of return postage. Again, this does not apply to custom orders.

In the unlikely event that item(s) received by you (the buyer) are faulty then you have the right to request a refund, we will also refund you the cost of any return postage within 30 days of this request.
