My love of weaving returned a new found love of a hobby I started in 2015 & had to put aside in 2019.
After spending a whole year making gifts and sending them "Affectionately" to my family and friends the name of the shop was born in 2024 " Affectionately Marge"
I then discovered spinning and making my own yarn, from fibre which has changed the dynamic for me again processing sheep fleece and turning it into yarn is a bit addictive and i find it so exciting to see what yarn i get to weave with or share with others.
I have been doing this for sometime now in my studio, where the garden and the changing colours and flowers inspir the colours that i use, there is always new things to learn and nature can play a big part in this along with everyday objects.
There are endless possibilities of how they will look as yarn, and how my beautiful scarfs will turn out. Now i can share them with you, thanks for stopping by.
