My privacy policy

I gerda austin am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.

When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.

• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.

I have been buying from Gerda for 2 years since she opened her folksy shop and have always been more than happy with my purchases , my latest , one of her new leather bags , is just fantastic ! Made by request a small across body soft leather bag , beautifully made with the greatest care and attention to detail , lined in a coordinating fabric and an adjustable strap , it is just perfect , the quality of the leather and the standard of the making is outstanding , Gerda is always so helpful when you contact her and goes out of her way to make something for you , I would most definitely recommend her items but especially the new leather bags , adorable ! thank you so so much Gerda x

Gerda, I am very happy with the bag which is beautifully made and packaged, although it has a weird smell, not sure if that isn't the Jiffy bag it was sent in. It smells faintly of creosote?? Will it be ok to wash it?
