Tickle and Thread stitch a variety of hand and machine embroidered textiles. The fabrics I use are a selection of new and upcycled Linen and Linen Blends, Cotton, Denim and Felt. I have a growing obsession with Liberty fabrics and a lifelong love of cross stitch.
I'm a bit of a hater when it comes to shock higher prices at the checkout (I am a Yorkshire lass after all) so everything is already inclusive of postage and packing. The price you see on the listing is the price you pay (subject to any little extras you also choose from the dropdown menus - personalised names & charity donations).
Many moons ago I studied Fashion, then years later Graphic Design and have spent a decade or two, or maybe three (eek!) in the clothing industry as a childrenswear designer, pattern cutter, pattern grader, and finally garment technologist. I am a total textiles geek, and was definitely a geek before it was cool.
Being the embroidery geek that I am (say it loud & proud) I've created a mini self-care outlet just for me which is 'Tickle and Thread'.
