When the weather turns chilly you need one of these beanies to keep you nice and warm!
I have crocheted this one is a self striping sock yarn that is 75% wool and 25% nylon. The wool will keep you warm and the nylon content helps to keep the yarn strong so you should get plenty of cold seasons out of this hat!
It measures approx 8 inches from top to bottom and just under 20 inches around unstretched but the ribbed band means it will easily stretch out a few more inches and still be comfortable.
Being lightweight yarn it is also small enough to be popped into a bag or large pocket so it's handy when it does go cold. And the natural fibres of wool mean the hat will keep you warm but is breathable so you're less likely to overheat when you're moving around.
This hat should be hand washed to keep it looking at its best but could be washed on a gentle wool cycle in the washing machine. Do not tumble dry though as it will shrink.
