Profile

Thank you for looking at my shop. I've been making jewellery in silver for ten years, and started learning on a silversmithing course all that time ago.

I like to make what I'd like to wear, and tend to work mainly in silver, with some gemstones and glass beads. I've started experimenting with polymer clay and also with copper, so do check back for new additions in the future.

Nature inspires me, and I like experimenting with texture, and working through designs that are variations on a theme. I'm hampered by the amount of hours in the day!

Some items are hallmarked as sterling silver, as I have a maker's mark from the Assay Office. Items under the weight of 7.78 grams do not need to be marked by law, but I sometimes hallmark them as it can increase their aesthetic value. Everything is handmade by me and so, by the nature of that, everything is unique. No two pieces come out the same and I pride myself on this. Working in silver is labour intensive and can be hard, and dirty, work but the results are, I hope, worth the effort.

I have a slightly neglected SilverMoss blog, and I also have a slightly less neglected twitter feed.

I hope you like what you see in my shop. All compliments gratefully received!

Terms and Conditions
Payment
~ Payment is taken via Paypal, or credit card via Paypal (you do not need a Paypal account to pay by credit card).
~ It is greatly appreciated if you pay when completing checkout through Folksy.

Packaging

~ All items are wrapped in tissue paper, and a organza gift bag, or a cardboard gift box, then carefully packaged.
~ I do on occasion reuse outer packaging (i.e. the envelope); a small attempt to help the environment and keep prices down.

Postal Information

~ Please note: All items are sent Second Class Recorded, which means proof of postage is gained and a signature is needed on receipt of the parcel.
~ If you would like an item sent First Class Recorded, or Special Delivery to guarantee you receive it the next day after posting, then please contact me and I can arrange it for extra cost to cover Post Office prices. Many thanks.
~ I always aim to dispatch the day after purchase, once payment has cleared, and will contact you when I recieve your order and when your purchase has been dispatched, so you know it's on its way.
~ UK orders should arrive within within 2-5 days of dispatch, although it could take longer. Airmail to Europe should arrive within within five working days of dispatch. For the rest of the world items should take five to seven working days after dispatch, although it may well take longer. All these timings are approximate, so please be patient in the event of unforeseen postal delays, and do get in touch if you have not received your parcel so I know what is happening.

~ If an item is damaged in the post, then please inform me as soon as possible.
~ If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason then please contact me within 7 days to resolve your problem.
~ If you wish to return an item then item cost will be refunded, but not postage and packaging costs, once the item is back with me.
~ Items must be returned in their original packaging and be in unworn and unused condition and the buyer must meet postage costs of safely returning the item.
~ If an item has been made to a commission, then it cannot be returned.
~ Please note, for reasons of hygeine, earrings cannot be returned.
