Meet the maker

Hi there,

My name is Veronica.

I am originally from Peru, but lived in Barcelona for 6 years and now almost 2 years in Scotland. I love travelling and experiencing new cultures and places.

I have a special passion for textiles as I grew up surrounded by fabric rolls and printed labels. My mum used to have a small business making t-shirts. It was always fun making clothes to my dolls with scrap fabric.

I never considered myself an artist as I studied a career in business, but I was always after my designer friends to see their latest creation, that’s how I have got involved in arts. I’ve done a bit of everything (batik, candle and soap making, embossing, screen printing, sewing, painting, etc) .
