A complete knitting junkie, I left teaching after 30 years to start my own knitwear business. I specialise in knitting beautiful one off accessories in luxurious yarns such as silk and alpaca.My first collection of knitting patterns has just been published by Artesano - The Mother Goose Collection is for children 0-5 years, knitted in Superwash Merino. Several of my designs will be published over the next few months in knitting magazines here and abroad
I particularly enjoy working to commission (do get in touch if you would like to commission a piece) and have undertaken all kinds of projects from simple (but beautiful)baby jackets in alpaca, to special evening wear shawls to complement a certain outfit, to some weird and wacky designs knitted up for final year student shows!
I knit for Rowan and Patons and knitted up one of the garments for Susan Crawford's retake on vintage knitting patterns -'A Stitch in Time'.
I run a variety of knitting workshops as well as a weekly knitting group in rural Northants.
