Jamball is really just plain old Pete and Jaime Ball.Recently wedded and very happily noodling with different media in Leigh (near Manchester) in good old Blighty.
It all started with a huge tin of vintage buttons given to us as we were making plans for our wedding.
The buttons were jaimes fun loving grandmas, who had recently passed away and whom we were both sad was not going to witness our special day.
So we got the idea to make our wedding corsages from felt and Gladys's buttons. That way we could have her with us as we tied the knot.
Firstly we made the wedding parties flowers in purple and blue, each with a special button or two and then we made butterflys and robots for children.
Then we got a little carried away and made over 170 corsages, (must have been the nerves),one for everyone at the wedding and the reception.
It was great to see people sorting through them to get one to match their outfits. They were a great success as everyone took them home as a keepsake).
We made all the table decorations (button trees and felt place mats) and threw colour co-ordinated buttons down on each table as confetti.
The centre-peice was a two foot tree made of shirt buttons and clay which had leaf cards on its branches for guests to write their comments on.
All the table decorations and the corsages came from Gladys's button tin so she was on every table and next to everyones heart on the day, which was really sweet.
We've been making wedding bouquets for brides worldwide for a few years now and we're loving every second of it.The feedback we've received has been fantastic and so inspiring.
Every piece we make is completely unique and made from hand cut felts (no Sizzix cuts for us) and individually hand picked vintage buttons.
Our bouquets are different to others you may have seen as they are only made from vintage buttons and each bouquet stands by itself making it fantastic for display after the big day.
We work very closely with every bride to ensure they get the exact bespoke bouquet they dreamed of and would love to work with you too.
Thanks for dropping by, hope to hear from you soon.
Jaime and Pete xx
