Meet the maker Nelson Marquez

Hi, I'm Nelson and welcome to my Folksy shop. I've been making jewellery and crafts for about 10 years now and I love working with materials such as wire and natural seeds, using different techniques for my original designs. Now based in the UK, I am originally from Peru, South America, which has had a big influence on both many of my designs and the materials that I use. Many of the seeds that I use in my pieces come from the Amazon jungle and have spiritual importance to the indigenous peoples who live there.

I make each and every piece and they are one-of-a-kind. I take pride in my work and endeavour to come up with imaginative and inspirational pieces. Since arriving in the UK, I have been keen to learn new crafts and have been inspired by the images and designs that I encounter. My scrabble rings and pendants are quirky and fun and I hope to keep designing new pieces and experiment with other materials.

I have a deep respect for the natural world and always endeavour to keep the environmental impact of my work to a minimum - where possible, I reuse and recycle different materials. I can customise pieces and can produce items made to order, so please send me a message. I'm happy to hear your suggestions.

Postage & Packing
The Item will be send within 1-2 business day of cleared payment. All items will be carefully packed and sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Post (2-3 days depending on the UK postal service and up to 14 days for overseas).

Returns
Items can be returned for any reason within 7 days, please get in touch.
Return postage cost will not be refunded unless the item is faulty or damaged.
