Meet the maker

Hello!
I spent many years at art school (first Bournville, then Winchester and finishing off at Central Saint Martins, London).I have always loved creating. I infuriated my tutors because I was never satisfied working in one medium and was a bit of a law unto myself.First I did a BA degree in printed textiles, then an MA in multi media/graphics.I've worked freelance as a printed textile designer, made short films/titles/backgrounds,moved on to designing cd covers/book covers/illustrated/painted...the list is endless. After my first daughter came along I found my love of photography and sewing. I now work as a photographer and a designer maker. I supply a shop in Cornwall called Uneeka (they sell fairtrade goods) and I have an Etsy shop too.I get bored of making a million of one thing so all of my goods are limited edition handcrafted entirely by me in my front room which looks like a creative bomb site/fabric emporium most of the time much to the horror of my husband (a graphic designer).I only stuff my handcrafted goods with 100% organic wool/lambswool.I mainly work with quality fabrics such as linen and cotton (and the occasional cashmere jumper which i've shrunk by accident).
Thankyou for visiting and I hope you enjoy my little corner of Folksy :)
