Meet the maker Clare Franklin

Hi there! I'd like to say a big thank you for visiting my shop.

I design and make jewellery, handbag charms, bracelets and other bits and bobs including beautiful button lightshades using everyday beads and buttons. Inspired by my mum’s button tin, I enjoy making my jewellery as a hobby and hope to pass on a little enjoyment through the things I make.

At present I have been making mainly necklaces and handbag charms but love anything home made at the moment! Quilting, beading, buttons - Folksy is a great site and very inspirational!

Everything I make tends to be a one off as finding the same combinations of beads and buttons is a little tricky! If you see something you like but want a different colour or shorter/longer length then let me know and I'll see what I can do! I can always find the right colours and beads to make something for everyone's taste.

SHOPPING POLICIES

Paying for your Purchase

Payment must be received within 7 days of buying an item. If after 7 days payment is not received the item will be relisted for all Folksy visitors to purchase once again.

Payment for your item is made using Paypal. If you don’t already have a Paypal account it’s easy to set one up. If you don’t want to register with Paypal you can use a credit or debit card via the Paypal site. Just follow the instructions on screen.

Shipping

Your item will be carefully packaged and shipped within three business days of your purchase if not sooner. All items are sent by Royal Mail First Class, which usually arrives within three working days. A certificate of postage will be obtained but if you would like special or recorded delivery please contact me to cover extra costs and arrange this service.

Refunds and Exchanges

Please contact me before purchasing if you have any questions about an item.

Your item should arrive in perfect condition. If this is not the case, please contact me and I will arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you or I will provide a refund where applicable. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded. Damaged goods must be returned if a refund placed.

Cancelling an Order

If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please let me know as soon as possible so as not to incur postage costs if items are already shipped.

If you are having issues with Paypal or any other aspect of the transaction, please do not hesitate to contact me and we will endeavour to fix things! If you have an issue about your purchase when it is delivered please contact me as soon as possible and within 7 days of receipt.

Additional Information

I aim to represent each item for sale as precisely as possible through detailed descriptions and photographs and am happy to answer any additional questions you may have before purchase. I have made every effort to display items as accurately as possible, however, please be aware that the actual product colours may differ slightly to the onscreen colour, as monitor colours vary from one computer to another.
