Meet the maker Kate & Ronnie O'Connell

Hi I'm Kate. I'm a ceramics and glass designer working in Hampshire. I make large scale ceramic tableware and all sorts of work in fused and cast glass, both functional and purely decorative. I also make some mixed-media jewellery, using ceramic, glass, metal, fabric and leather.
I also teach classes in glass fusing, for all levels of experience, in groups of up to 10, or as individual tutorials. Studios in Havant & Romsey, Hampshire. Contact me for info.

And this is Ronnie... she's my mum, and she is the Mistress of The Beads. She makes jewellery & suncatchers & basically anything that gives her an excuse to play with glass, crystals & semi precious stones. She's awesome & makes good stuff.
