Meet the maker Sandra Mitchell
After extensive, world-wide travelling I settled in Ayrshire, Scotland for 16 years and started designing and making jewellery.
Basketry was also a favourite hobby and my fascination with the woven form grew and I started incorporating weaving into my jewellery.
I now work with a palette of 18 colours of enamelled copper wire from a studio overlooking the sea in North Devon.
My designs come from textiles and architecture seen whilst overseas and from the beautiful countryside in which I have been fortunate to live.
