Hi I'm Katie Chaplin, a textile artist from North Yorkshire specialising in Japanese arts and crafts.

I teach workshops and give talks on kimono, tea ceremony, silk painting, shibori, kumihimo, origami etc, anything really as long as it's Japanese!

I've loved Japanese culture since I was a little girl so it's a dream come true to spend my days making things from kimono fabric and teaching people about Japan, and or course, going there once a year to pick up supplies and see my friends...
