Meet the maker Frances Peel

Welcome to Hepsibah Designs. I originally studied illustration at university and subsequently went into teaching. I am now a Head of a busy art department teaching students 11 to 18 years old. I love to teach but have always continued to produce my own work. I adore textiles and therefore the work you see is the result of my thrill in collecting ribbons, threads and fabrics and then combining them to produce decorative and whimsical scenes. I continue to paint too and am about to launch a sister shop on etsy.com selling my canvas' and prints which share the textured and colourful approach to my work.
