Meet the maker
A bit about me if you have clicked on profile...
As far as I can remember I have collected pretty stones and pebbles, or any object that tweaked my interest. Feathers, porcupine quills, empty egg shells, you name it, and I suppose I have never grown out of it.
Those pocketfuls of little treasures I had as a child have evolved into my love of beads, particularly ceramic and stone or gemstone.
The jewellery I make is usually inspired by nature, or colours in a scene, or sometimes governed by my mood. I like the things I make to be good to the touch as well as to wear and to feel solid and comforting in their weight. Saying that, I am a whimsical mix of contradictions, which is probably why one day I will use feathers and the next heavyweight stone beads!
Email me with any ???'s and thank you for looking at Guava tree.
