I learned to knit when I was just 6 years old and learned to crochet when I was about 10 years old, giving me more than 45 years of experience in both crafts. I have been spinning my own yarn for about 14 years, from both ready-to-spin purchased fibre braids and also from buying and processing freshly sheared fleece from local farmers, dyeing it and making my own blends.
