ABOUT US
Little Bird SOS positively engages with people to provide life enrichment, education, socialisation, creative distraction and personal growth. Our positive ideas about recycling and re-using resources for eco friendly arts and crafts reinforces a feeling in the learner of doing something positive and useful by reducing their own environmental impact.

We provide 'Crafting for Health & Wellbeing' activities, along with other educational activities aimed at both children and adults. We also give online tutorials and opportunities for people who would like to volunteer to work with us. We are a source of encouragement and support to individuals, having enabled them to run other community craft groups in the area.

All of the items for sale in this shop are made by our participants. Our work is of particular benefit to people experiencing stress, anxiety or depression.

As a Social Enterprise we are a non-profit making organisation. We don't function for private profit but for social and community purposes and enrichment. This means that all of our income supports the social aims of our organisation.

POSTAGE, PACKAGING & PAYMENT
All of our items are handmade to the specification described on the listing and ready to ship as soon as we receive payment. All items are packed and posted with care and should be received within 3-5 working days (excluding custom orders) we use 1st class postage via Royal Mail and always obtain proof of posting. Preferred method of payment is Paypal but you can also pay via your Credit or Debit Care via Paypal. If you are purchasing a custom order we will begin work as soon as both payment and specifications have been received.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
We hope that you will be 100% happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order so that an alteration, exchange or refund can be arranged. Refunds due will be issued via Paypal.

OTHER INFORMATION
Most of the items are made from recyled fabrics and vintage trimmings and therefore can vary in design.
Some of the items (where stated in the listing) are stuffed with Cornish, soil association approved, pure organic sheeps wool. Wool has the added benefit of being a natural , biodegradable and sustainable fibre. Wool can last for many hundreds of years without loosing its flexibility but is biodegradable in soil

CARE OF WOOL
Hand wash in lukewarm water (approx 30 degrees celsius) with a mild detergent and leave to air dry natuarally. If the water is too hot, the wool, used for stuffing the items, will felt and your item will lose its original shape.
