"I have always had an affection for handcrafted products, understanding the thought, care and nurturing that has gone into creating something from scratch. I love to create items that I would wear, or have complimenting the rooms in my house.

I make use of fabric remnants and vintage haberdashery and I am keen to recycle fabrics where I can. I love to re-use materials because of their history, be it an old button from a favourite coat or a square of fabric from an old dress.

None of my pieces are exactly the same because of the hand stitched detail, plus the fact that many of the fabrics are found in small quantities. I am happy to make individual items and one offs.

Tins of vintage buttons, reels of bright thread, stacks of fabric, snipping, pinning and stitching. These are things I love. All my items have been designed and created by me alone with lots of time, care, thought and tea, inspired by the countryside, towns and villages where I live."
