I am lucky enough to live and work on the beautiful Orkney islands, north Scotland. My influences are varied from the islands rich history, Viking heritage, nature and also the Arts & Crafts movement.

I regard myself as a smallholder sharing a couple of acres of Orkney with my husband, various animals a and plants. As smallholders we try and make things ourselves and have learnt to become very resourceful.

I play at other crafts but my real love is metal. I specialise in making jewellery from silver and copper. I make jewellery that I like to wear and so it has to be comfortable and able to be worn either casually or used to dress-up an outfit. I hope that you like my shop.

Each item is individually hand crafted and finished to order, there may be slight variations in the item you receive compared with the listing picture. As copper and brass reacts with the air and will tarnish over time, I apply a small amount of wax to all my copper & brass items to slow down these reactions.

Each piece is handmade to order please allow 5-10 days before the item is shipped, although I do try to send sooner. If you need the item quicker, please send me a message and I will pull out all the stops to send asap

Each item will arrive professionally boxed.

If you see something in the sold section that you are interested in purchasing please contact me to inquire about having that item re-created. I am always happy to re-create an item for you.

If you would like a matching pendant/earrings etc. to an item you see or require adjustments I can happily make up a custom order for you. Please get in touch.

Payment
I accept PayPal as the method of payment. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can make purchases through PayPal using a credit card without having an account. Just select PayPal for your payment option and on the next screen you will be able to enter your credit information without creating an account.

PLEASE check that your Folksy shipping address matches your PayPal billing address. I will send all items to your Folksy address, unless you advise me otherwise.

Shipping
Because each piece is handmade to order please allow 5-10 days before the item is shipped. If you need the item quicker, please send me a message and I will pull out all the stops to send asap.

All UK orders will be sent via Royal Mail and should arrive within 3 days of posting.

US, EUROPE and the REST of THE WORLD
Orders will be sent via tracked mail which may take anything from 4 -14 business days.

Proof of postage is kept for all orders. Unfortunately I cannot be held responsible for lost/stolen/uninsured items. All of my work is well packaged.

Duty charges – USA & Non-European countries
I have to mark the package with the appropriate customs declaration. This should help minimise any delays but you may attract a customs duty charge. It isn’t usually much but you will need to contact your local customs department for further details. Please bear this in mind when ordering.

Customs duty does not apply to packages sent within UK and to EUROPE.

Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be satisfied with your purchase! If you feel that my jewellery has not matched your own expectations, please contact me. For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings are non returnable, sorry.

Shipping costs are non refundable and request for return must be made within 3 days of items receipt. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to me. The return shipping must include a delivery confirmation. Once the item is received in its original condition the refund will be made to your PayPal account.

All returned items must be in a saleable condition.
