Hello and welcome to my shop ♥
Witchcorner is a small online business featuring my home decoration items. All items are designed and handmade by me, each piece is made with love, passion and care.
Witchcorner was established as a gift shop and craft supplier shop in my home country, Hungary in 2001. At this time, witches and superstitious decoration items were popular and often bought as gifts as an appreciation for this trend. My shop was located on the corner of a well known walking street and like that - Witchcorner was born :)
For 5 years, the shop was enjoyed by artists, tourists, gift shoppers and curious crafters stopping by for learning and a friendly chat. On the weekends, the shop became a workshop space where I taught people how to paint on glass, how to decoupage, how to paint on silk and so on.
In 2006, I moved to the UK and felt pleased to be able to continue my passion fuelled business as an online shop - my own little ‘corner’ of the internet. It makes me happy and honoured when customers from all over the world visit my shop and buy my handmade items.
I am a Mother of two beautiful girls, lover of my family as well as pets, flowers, being outdoors and travelling. As a lifelong artist, making handmade items is my passion and an essential part of my life; I have been creating for as long as I can remember.
My style is all things feminine and romantic and I believe that this is reflected in my designs. I focus on making items that my customers use in their daily lives: mugs, wine glasses, teacups, candle holders, jewellery and small home decoration items.
I enjoy working with different mediums and trying out several crafting methods such as jewellery making, silk painting, glass painting, pottery, sewing and knitting. The versatility of these crafts keeps me experimenting and always working on new ideas to build into my personal style.
