I live in rural Scotland, in a quaint Fife coastal village next to vibrant woodland. Due to my love of the outdoors, my artwork is distinctly inspired by the natural landscape that surrounds me.
My BA honours in Art and Design specialised in printed textiles - using bright, bold patterns. Since then I have been drawn to glasswork instead. The strength, depth of colour and translucency found uniquely in glass excites me and the textures, bubbles and imperfections make it even more appealing to use. I'm pulled towards blues and greens and always seem to return to a blue palette time and time again.
Soap - now that's another story... I simply adore soap. I've been making it as presents for friends and family for well over two decades. After so many positive comments I gained certification and began to sell to the wider public ten years ago. I now have many loyal, repeat customers. The soap is handmade in small batches (12 bars), using only natural, high quality oils and botanicals. It is plastic free, uses recyclable packaging and is so, so gorgeous to use.
