Handmade textile and ceramic artworks, made in the Lincolnshire Wolds

Hello there! I’m Nicki Jarvis and I live and work in the pretty market town of Louth. I'm based in an 18th century warehouse next to Navigation Canal, and also teach ceramics at Oxcombe Pottery deep in the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All very rustic!

I make handmade buttons, domestic objects and artworks using ceramics, stitched textiles and screen-printing. My inspiration is the unintentional patterns to be found in the local landscape, referencing dishevelled buildings, field systems and maps. I also get VERY excited about quilt-making techniques. Creative domesticity, expressed through handmade objects which can be used or viewed, makes me happy. I hope my work makes you happy too!

If you have any comments about my work or would like a bespoke item then please do get in touch, I'd love to hear from you.
