Hey crocheters!
I am Loralie, the owner of Mumsy Makes Crochet. I started crocheting in 2015 when I was pregnant with my first born. I wanted to make him some booties for when he was born and it's safe to say that I didn't get the hand of it straight away! I had failed miserably at knitting and was determined to learn the art of crochet.
My first completed project was a blanket which was beyond wonky! But I kept on going and now here I am nearly 10 years later, teaching the wonderful art of crochet on my YouTube channel and selling my own crochet patterns.
I try to make my patterns as beginner friendly as possible but remember that you need to keep going! It's 100% worth every skipped stitch and wonky blanket that you create in the beginning.
Giving someone a handmade gift always feels wonderful and they can see how much effort you've put into their gift.
