I work as a Graphic designer for a company by trade and then away from the day job and client brand guidelines I love to create patterns, get inky and experiment with bold shapes and colour exploring layering of shapes and patterns.
My print work has evolved over the years as a constant strand alongside the day job – I have working in various sectors over the last 20 years....fabric fashion textile designer, greeting card designer, screen-printed baby/children’s clothes to now coming full back circle to my first love of patterns.
I graduated a long time ago from East London with a degree in textile and surface pattern design, I enjoy using digital design as a way of constructing patterns as well as a more freehand printing technique where I layer shapes and colours and the results are unique every time and in a constant state of experimentation :-)
Outside work and patterns I am outside either running, walking the dog or in the garden.
