Using leather sourced from UK suppliers I create leather bags and bowls as well as smaller leather items

I studied and worked initially as a graphic designer, later following this with an MA in textile design leading to working with natural fibres. Using vegetable tanned leather sourced from UK suppliers I create leather accessories and bowls along with smaller leather items. The leather undergoes a slow tanning process and is considered to be eco-sustainable as it has a low environmental impact.

My leather work is a slow and considered craft, hand cut and hand sewn or hand riveted and uses the traditional method of saddle stitching with waxed thread. I am a member of the Norfolk Contemporary Craft Society.

My work is featured in the British Craft Directory and the Crafts Council Directory and is stocked by the Atwin store in Norwich under the brand name of Juniper Calluna.
