Imps are porcelain and textile companions for a haunted childhood.

Does anyone really outgrow childhood? Nay, say the Imps, for no child outgrows the shadows of this world. So, whether you lock shade up tight or overshare, our Imp Squeaks understand, making excellent companions for those bedevilled by their formative years. Imps just love subliminal wanderings into the gloom of playtime and schooldays. For one, it is good mental exercise, and, for another, shadow is an Imp’s preferred diet. All the bad bits can be crunched up and transmuted into good – or at least something interesting.

Imp Squeaks are porcelain and textile dolls, or – for those too grownup – fetish. Each porcelain head is meticulously hand carved, then stitched tight to bodies assembled from mohair or patterned fabric. Within an Imp’s cloth vessel a crystal heart is placed for that extra touch of juju, and many enjoy the summon of bells about their neck. Some Imps are hand embroidered too, with narrative scrawls childlike in their curious observation of things, or else mad with folly and the macabre.

Every Imp Squeak is unique, and – while some maybe a little dark – all promise to accompany those wishing to befriend a haunted childhood.
