Imps are porcelain and textile companions for a haunted childhood.

Does anyone really outgrow childhood?

“No”, say the Imps, for no one outgrows the shadows of this world. So, whether you lock shade up tight or overshare, Imp Squeaks understand, making excellent companions for those bedevilled by their formative years. Imps just love subliminal wanderings into the gloom of schooldays. They understand that we can never rewrite our origins, and – if we understood the power of an integrated shadow – we wouldn’t want to.

Are they dolls? Fetish? Golem? Whatever they are, Imp Squeaks are unique creations combining porcelain with textiles. Each porcelain head is meticulously hand carved, then stitched tight to bodies assembled from mohair or patterned fabric. Within an Imp’s cloth vessel a crystal heart is placed for extra juju, and many enjoy the summon of bells about their neck. Some Imps are hand embroidered too, with scrawls mad with folly or the macabre.

While some imps maybe a little dark, all promise to accompany those wishing to befriend a haunted childhood.
