Since the age of 5, I have loved making. From writing stories to embroidering books, from sequinned jewellery pouches for friends to embroidered butterfly decorations. There has always been a project on the go. While studying Textiles at University, my love for embroidery grew and my techniques developed. I have always had an eye for colour and a fascination with the natural world, so quite naturally, these two aspects began to blend together within my work. I love the finer detail of things, and the care that goes into making them - the back (or inside) should be as beautiful as the front.
An eclectic melange of embroidered butterflies and leaves, wooden decorations, fragrant lavender bags, appliquéd purses and felt brooches, are among some of the treasures you can find in my shop.
Embroidered home decor, accessories, jewellery and textiles inspired by the beauty of the natural world, I design and make these intricate and detailed products in my home studio in Putney, London. Blending seasonal colours and focusing on texture and pattern, I bring the natural world to life using my trusty sewing machine and a drawer filled with every kind of thread imaginable.
